Fulham fans are gonna probably flip over this, but for years I have been cheering (even now, today) for Fulham to be relegated from Premier League and cheer for them to not be promoted in Premier League from Championship. Why? Because watching Fulham game is horrendous experience. Zoomed close-ups with main camera all the time, low angle, just not an enjoyment watching any game on TV from there. Craven Cottage was build in 1896. Nothing else to say about this stadium. Not interesting at all. check the grades and final FICAZ INDEX score bellow.
Camera Angle and Center Zoom
I am scratching my head every time when I see Fulham got 15 points for camera angle. I’ve calculated it over and over and it is the same result even so overall feeling is way worse than result shows. And then of course I noticed (check bellow section Zoom bottom Near side) you’ll see unbelievable optical distortion caused (my guess) because of used wide lenses on this main camera Fulham’s Mr. “Quark” uses.

Zoom top (far side)
Mr.”Quark” overworked himself into pushing close-up zoom to the almost maximum. The result is as you can see, we are looking at micro pitch football broadcast 😪.

Zoom bottom (near side)
And here it is. Looks at that picture! Side line is like a long drunken worm, completely distorted. players on the edge of frame, completely distorted. The looks like they are leaning on one side, half drunk. Terrible broadcast quality. Mr. “Quark” is not here even probably guilty party. Looks like camera setup on this stadium and stadium itself not a compatible building for contemporary TV coverage , camera too close to the pitch, too low. Obviously all that pushed them (whoever have responsibility for TV broadcast) to make some adjustment and the result is not a pretty picture. The FICAZ Index calculation (I am guessing because of wide lens) gives them enough for 1 point but they will be punished for that on HREN bonus points.

Zoom Corners
That corner zooming is so bad that only half goal is visible during the corner kick. Appealingly bad camera handling by Mr.”Quark”. Zero points is too much for this. -10 points will be appropriate here how bad it is.

Extra points
I am trying really hard to find anything here what could give it an extra boobs for so brilliant stadium like this. But during several watched games nothing extraordinary or ordinary was noticeable, so mainly because of really y good feeling watching Spurs home game, I am giving it 3 points for HREN bonus. Please let me know if someone noticed floating cameras or any other cool gizmo during the live broadcast. Greatly appreciated.
